What is it for?

Meat, poultry, fish, tofu or vegetables are threaded onto it for the barbecue, the rotisserie, the plancha or the charcoal oven; yakitori, satay, kefta and fruit skewers also adorn buffets, catering platters and street food stands. The stable stem is finally useful for plating, on site as well as for takeaway.

In production, the format suits marinating, assembly and then holding in gastronorm trays, before going on the grill. Tip: dampen the pick before barbecue cooking to limit browning of its surface.
