What is it for?

Side sauces, condiments, toppings, amuse-bouches, small tapas or mini desserts: this small diameter is made for the single portion. Caterers and event organisers use it for tastings and buffets, restaurants for table service, room service or meal trays.

For takeaway, the small dish keeps sauces and toppings separate and reduces the risk of spills, while staff carry it from the kitchen to the dining room or buffet keeping their hands clean. It takes a cold preparation just as well as a portion to be warmed in the microwave just before it is sent out.
