This 9 cm long "Teppo Gushi" bamboo steak pick is packed in a display box. On its flat head, the inscription Rare denotes meat served very rare (bleu); placed at the plating station, the box keeps the picks tidy and within reach at the moment the plate goes out to the dining room.

What is it for?
